Do they have the option to set the clutch as a button? In forza3, if you used the clutch, every ten up-shifts was good for almost 0.5 of a second.

This also means I'll have to reactivate my live account so I can bump-draft hustler right off the track!!!!!

Also, I just bought the F1 car on iRacing, I'm not sure how much more exciting Forza4 could be. Going into turn 1 at suzuka, 3 wide, 6th gear, 160 mph, spotter telling you to stay left, and trail-braking hard into turn 2 at 100 mph. iRacing is sooooo addictive!!!!

 

I heard you can still do the clutch on controller in the demo, personally I wanted that bullshit removed

 

No ******* New York Circuit!? That was a good track! Why the hell did they remove it?

 

Probably because it was boring as hell after a few laps, I'd always just have the "auto pilot" do that one for me.

Edit: So game stop gets there preorders guaranteed before best buy. They didn't print enough / sold to many and game stop gets first dibs on covering there orders.

 

I ordered this game in May. I'm a little pissed-off, I wonder if I have the will to not buy the game at all?

It wasn't that it was fun, it was the fact that I could take my monster cars out there and multi lap people in a 10 lap race. Long straight, turn, long straight. Now that I think about it, it wasn't that great really. But I don't see why they had to ditch that track. It's not like they added a bunch of new tracks in its place.

 

After looking at screen shots and videos of gameplay, I have to say the most impressive thing to me in F4 vs F3 is the improved lighting. The polygon count is up to double what it was on F3, and it shows, but the lighting really pulls it all together and makes for some very cinematic, life like racing.

The lighting didn't really hit me as hard until I went back and looked at F3 pictures. The lighting and reflections on cars looks so flat. HUGE change in F4.







I never thought I would see the day I found an Xbox game more beautiful than a PS3 game, but this day has come. F4 blows GT5 away graphically. WTF happened!? I remember GT1 like it was yesterday, and was blown away by those graphics. "Graphics could never get any more realistic than these, surely!"

 

I saw a Ford GT just like that one a few days ago.
