Has anyone played with Kinect? does it work? I just bought a Kinect from my boss for $40 because his kid never used it, lol. BTW, do I need a CD to install Kinect?
Don't think so, once you plug it in it should download the drivers required. Remember if you have the new slimmer xbox you don't need power, with the older xboxes you do though.
I've played with kinect a bunch, don't use mine much, dunno if I will with forza, we'll see. Yes you can look towards apexes, but without g-forces I'd imagine it's hard to feel if you're understeering or oversteering as you head towards that apex.

Shift 2 had the function to have to game view shift a few degrees towards the apex and it made it harder to hit the line. The change in the view only does not really work that's why a wrap around screen is better as you use your peripheral vision.
Is this the likes to follow you into the bathroom and make eye contact as your dump boss?
They have been talking about making it better with firmware updates so who knows. maybe just head tracking will work better then full body.
Glad I'm not the only one that couldn't get kinect to work. I thought I was just doing something wrong (and maybe I still am). I stopped the car, look left, look right, lean head... the screen never moved.
Anyone tried simulation steering? It definitely didn't agree with my lack of driving skills, lol.

I just assumed it would work since that was one of the features of the game. If it's not there, that makes a lot more sense. I looked for adjustments/setup and didn't see anything.
It's about the same until the car gets unsettled, when you try to correct it whips back real fast. I kept over-correcting I guess, but I couldn't manage to keep the car going forward. I'm guessing it depends on the car you're using too, I was using the M5, I would think a low powered car wouldn't be nearly as noticible.

As far as the M5 goes, when you steer right for example to the point where you think the car is about to skid, give the controller a quick flick of opposite lock. Also, when your accelerating or breaking, remember to modulate the throttle/brake. Just turn off the TC/SC/ABS, put it on manual and go from there.
Yeah it's a huge difference, like I said 39% to 9%, although that 9% lap wasn't my first clean one.

Why? Because Curly was taken, and Curly followed by my age (24) was also taken. Yes, xbox live existed in 1979.

Goddamn, **** that 458 race with all of the lap traffic. It doesn't matter how many consecutive laps I race, there is always a cluster **** of cars in my way in a crucial corner, and it ***** me all up and costs me either to not have a clean lap, or to lose 3 or 4 seconds. I swear some of those cars move into my way just to **** me off. If not for that **** I could be in the top 5%, but instead only 13%. I have 3% on the Zonda race after a few laps. Ready for the full version so I can turn the loud, obnoxious music off.
