if i read the specs on that map correctly, id say no cause it says 8 vespene geysers... theres 10 spawn locations... so there should be at least 40 geysers, 2 for main, 2 for expo. and 2 people spawn in the middle >.> and there are gold islands. this map would scream terran

ill try it tonight. But a map like that would be perfect.

I'll have to look at it agian, but that's gott a be a typo -- there should be at least 48 gas spots. 10 spawns with expos.

I can easily expand to islands, so can toss. terrans will hate my muta wrath. Find a better one and we can review it--I spent a good 5 minutes looking.

itll be hard finding a map, but i dont like the idea of gold islands cause i can just fly my second CC to the gold, then mule it once. bam gold paid itself off already then take a third at my natural

- 160(20*8) mineral fields (1500)
- 32(4*8) rich mineral fields (1500)
- 40 vespene geysers (2500)
- 8 rich vespene geysers (2500)
- 0 Xel'Naga Tower

wouldnt people who spawn in the middle be put at a disadvantage? i like the map, i just wish spawn locations are only against the border of the map.

#1 spawns in the middle, then it goes around the backside, where one middle and one outside location would be empty, unless we filled it with easy AI.

I can open it in editor and maybe remove them? I'll see if I can't find a better map today, but that was the "fairest" one I could find when searching through, not many are desgined for FFA, really nice 3v3v3 maps out there though.

coo, yeah if you can just delete those spawn locations, we could get some really interesting games considering the middle expo is open to fight for haha

I made some changes. Not sure how to bring it into an online game now

Exotic Garden is not a good choice, too one side if the 1 person spawns all alone. Its a 12 player map. One some tests I had 1 player always have no other players to the left or right. If we added some easy ai, then the map wouldnt be so bad.

Emerdale is cool, but comes up as a 6 player. i removed the 2 center which makes it four. wont work unless I am overlooking something.
