DJ you are in Houston right?

PM me if you want to talk. Why did you sell your turbo kit for a swap. Should have just gotten an ecu and called it a day

I've considered a diesel swap... I'm waiting for the BMW 120D engines to age a few years so I can pick one up cheap and import it. They rev to about 6K and make good power and torque. They also get about 3X my current city fuel economy. I bet with a slightly larger turbo and some stage 2 injectors I could make that engine perform very well. I won't be doing that to this car though, I'll get one that's a little more beat up and use it as a DD.

Yup, and there's a guy up the road from me with a p-port in his 70-whatever rx7. Last time I was over, he fired it up for me and we rode around the block. It was so loud, one of his neighbors called the cops. He was shifting at 10k.

If you want to be different, slap a 2.3 MZR turbo in. Stock form you've got 270hp/280tq and be done with it.

1.8 2.0 not much of a difference.
