275bhp Mazda MX-5 breaks cover
I was always under the assumption that the Goodwin car was one of the two MX-5s built up for Formula-D, which were all-motor Cosworth engines and that Brian bought one when they were "retired" from attempting to drift.

Lotsa rake yup.
Maybe they left the hardtop off for the photoshoot. Maybe the rake is not "real" and done for the photoshoot too. After all, only a tiny, tiny minority (us) would wonder about the rake and the lack of hardtop.
I wonder if they changed suspension arms or pickup points.

I think its pretty sick for the simple fact of how light it is. The cage looks like its higher than the front windshield though so I doubt if a top was designed for it. Also the gear box is pretty dope but sounds too expensive to be worth it.
and +1 on noticing the wiper mod. I want that too.

Whats up with all the hardtop comments? None of the MX5 racing series in the UK run with hardtops, because the safety devices cages they're forced to run with are too tall to fit under one.
Obviously the aero would be better if they ran with a solid roof, but they're all competing against each other so they're all the same.
