Default 85 MPH 3rd Gear.

What is the RPM?

Base 94 5spd with no torsen.

Just never hit over 80mph on the stock ecu and wanted to make sure my revlimiter was actually working and not lagging behind on the MS.

Thanks.

rev limit should kick in at 7200rpm, your rear end gear is 4.1/1. The dashboard tachometer is accurate enough, but lags a little bit, so if you hold your rpms for just a quarter of a second, it should catch up. I really do not know the answer to your question, but I would guess that since 80mph = 4k rpm in 5th, ~5-5.5k rpm in 4th, that 3rd gear probably tops out around 85-90mph. Why so worried, there is a rev limiter, you have not hit it yet? It does work.

ahem this is easy. the answer is 89 mph given stock 185-60-14 tires and a 7200 redline 86 mph given a 7000 rpm redline.

I have hit it, I just wanted to make sure it was accurate. Just seemed much higher then stock and not what I set it to. However, in fact it was accurate.
