Speeding is bad, mmkay? Seriously, cops in VA suck for anything other than enforcing gay traffic laws. My sister's house was broken into over a month ago, we know who did it, we have proof, still no arrest made, the case is "pending investigation" still.

I don't think I've had one good experience with a cop in this state to date. I've been pulled over 4 times in the past three years for my exhaust being too loud, one time was in my eclipse which was loud as hell and justifiable, the other three were all stock exhaust systems. Twice was in my '90 miata within two weeks of getting it, the other was in my 240SX about a week before I finally unloaded the POS.

get a piece of Al and bend it like this link or send them an email for a shipping quote.

with the AUD in its current state, you may only need spare change to buy it.

Nope, he's alive and well writing the traffic laws in the good old commonwealth. At least we don't have emissions testing.

I think he wrote a few here, too. I hear ya on the emissions testing.. Not YET... Anyway. Just wait a few years when the treehugger "global warming" loons take it just another step.

I've never had a problem. If I get pulled over it's usually for speeding :knocks on wood: and the front plate is a warning. Otherwise the ticket is like a ~$20 fix-it ticket (non-moving violation).

Front plates are .

The above does not apply to Williamson County.

Bring your car down to Austin.

unfortunately Beaumont has gone to ****, so I'm going there on Sunday. I'm not very happy about it, but hopefully I will close it down quickly and get on with my life.

Try one like this photo.
Hangs down when stopped. When driving, it goes up and air can get to the IC.

Default Alt. front plate trick!

anyone have front license plate bracket pics v.turbo-dsc01477.jpg

Here's how I did it, w/ a little "creative metalforming" and some zipties.

Washington state law says the license plate must be mounted on the front of the car, visible and intact. check, check, check! Never been hassled for my front plate and the cooling works just great.

That wouldn't fly here. The law states that you cannot bend, alter or mutilate the plate. Technically, mine is illegal, as I drilled two holes in the center of it to mount to an "L" bracket that is bolted to the tow hook but at least it is flat.
