Alrighty so I was messin around with my gauges and now there is a beeping sound coming from under the dash.

Five sets of five reps. and then it goes away.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP PAUSE X5

What is this? How do i fix it?

Oh and I already searched the fourm and couldent find anything.

 

I thought this thread was going to be complaining about those annoying BMW SUV things! :P

Could it be your seatbelt warning or something?

 

Airbag computer. It beeps if the airbag light burns out. 5 blinks, or in this case, 5 beeps, is an airbag sensor fault.

 

HA. Thats what I thought just wanted to make sure it wasnt something else. I took all the airbag sensors out. How do I turn it off?????????

 

Come-on Someone has to know how to turn it off??? It's so flippin anoying!

 

People report that it will eventually burn out.

Or you could pull the airbag computer, or track down its power or ground... or fuse... cant be too tough

 

I pulled the computer, but you still have to cut a wire to make the light go out. m.net told me how. I can't remember but I think I unplugged a harness on one module and removed the other.
