I love Florida. To me anything below 45*F is to cold to step foot outside.

back in feb of 91 i was in the artic circle 9 paralel which is considerd the north pole. coldest place i've ever been in my life. gotta love the military.
we did an unrep at like 2 in the morning around -70 in 15 foot seas and friggen waves coming over the flight deck and were in extreme foul weather gear holding a ******* rope for 3 hours. you know its cold when salt water freezes. worst night of my life.

An aircraft carrier - nice.

Once thing really cold weather does is make you appreciate anything warmer. So now -15C is mild and enjoyable right now. Up here in March if it hits +5 people start wearing t-shirts outside.

right after that about a month later it's 125 degrees on the fight deck sitting in the persian gulf. getting ready for the first gulf war. spent 10 months at sea that year.
