Default Big cams,74#springs.. stock valves??

Got kelford 264 cams. And heavy dual springs. I was going to just lap my original valves and run them. They are in good shape. But had a few suggestions to just get new valves? Wanted to touch base with some of you gurus for opinions on running stock valves with said upgrades.possible issues or personal experience?
The engine is turbo 1.8 at 15#.. 240~250hp
Thanks fellas
Safe drives

At that power stock valves are more than adequate. Just make sure they are good.

Just to put it in perspective, the BP has the same size valves as the Honda VTEC B-series heads. People are making 800+hp without going up to oversizede valves. A lot of that has to do with the head flowing much better, but the point is that the valves are not the choke point in the BP head.
