Well, it was great while it lasted.

There has been such a run on them here lately though, maybe they will come back in stock again.

Mine just arrived today. Granted the delivery was complicated because they left a digit off my mailing address. Once I figured that out, I marched down to my neighbor to pick it up. Glad I got in before the sellout, although I would trade for one of the fabricated aluminum cowl tanks offered in the classifieds earlier?

Mine ended up in customs then back to Japan. Just got delivered to them yesterday. Hopefully on the way again today. Seems they screwed up the zip code. Sigh...

It let you order it ok ... meaning they're not sold out anymore?

EDIT: Yep, I just tried it and the website let me put it in the shopping cart and proceed to checkout.

This is great then, it looks like they're back !!

Well, before when they were sold out, it said SOLD OUT (duh) and you couldn't put one in your cart, let alone initiate the order.

FYI, most people were seeing about 24 hours between initiating the order and getting the response back to make the actual payment.

Because the order is initiated on the Rakuten site, not from the actual merchant. The delay is for the actual merchant (Suzuki Motors) to get back with the payment request. Be advised that patience is required to get this good deal.

Got both 2 days ago. US Customs returned them for some reason and I was watching the tracking. Figured It was a zip code screw-up and emailed the last email (which was a live body email address) expressing the importance of having a correct zip.

She replied and sent them the next day. Frequent flyer miles...

Huh, what shipping method did you choose? I'm in CA too, but mine was only $38.67

... or maybe the exchange rate went up. (still a great price compared to domestic sources)

Regardless, it's good they are not sold out anymore!
