Default Cruise Control 0V @ Connector

So I think I may have fried my cruise control computer, but I'm not sure.

My car did not come with cruise control, so I wired it in and got it to work.

I needed a convenient, switched place to power my boost controller, so I used a quick splice on the cruise control positive output. I figured the solenoid doesn't use much power, so it'd be fine.

After several months, there is a problem. There is zero volts at the connector in the engine bay. Attempting to fire up the cruise control diagnostics results in no light coming up on the dash. I have checked the voltage from the output of the dashboard cruise control switch to the main harness wire (white/blue) and there is voltage from start to finish.

I'm starting to wonder if using the cruise control's +12V output might have overloaded something on the computer. Maybe the boost controller pulls more current than I anticipated?

Can't find any solution, lmk what you guys might have in mind to try out.

How many amps does the cruise control require? How many amps does the boost controller require? How many amps is the circuit you designed capable of supporting?

idk, probably not much

The wires should be thick enough, but I'm wondering if I fried some circuit in the cruise control computer or if there's something else wrong.
