Default Door/Ignition Buzzing

I have been trying to find a fuse or something to get rid of that door open buzzer. Have anyone disconnected it with a fuse or found it. I'm about to hit it with a fly swatter.

it just unplugs. doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.

What I'm suggesting is that you get under the dash with teh door open, listen for the buzz, pinpoint it, and unplug the device.

this should take all of 30 seconds.

I converted my buzzer to only go off if I opened the doors and the lights are on. Saved my battery more than thrice.

and i honestly wanted to post some jackass remark on how no one has found in the 20 plus years of the cars exisistence, but I yeilded.

nope, just a silly little buzzer under the steering column and to the left.

converting it to the light warning buzzer was one of my better mods.

Unless we're talking NB in which case it's built into the gauge pod.

I have an off topic question. How difficult would it be to wire the running lights to come on when the ignition is turned on? Would it just be a simple relay?

First mod I made. And indeed one of the best. Just start grabbing things under there. You'll feel it vibrate and change pitch when you grab it.

That is an excellent idea. The first two things I noticed about the car that I didn't like when I got it where 1) the open door/whatever buzzing and 2) the lack of warning when the car is shut off and the lights are still on. Does anyone know of the buzzer is in the same place on a late model NA as it is on an early model NA? I tried to find it once but couldn't.

I'd assume so. I'll look for the writeup I used, stupid simple. Basically cut the wire the the ign switch and attach to the dimmer switch...something to that matter.
