It don't take **** to make a BP rev to 8K. A crystal swap is all it takes. My motor has turned 8K many many many times. But it doesn't make any power up there. Doesn't mean it won't do it though. All those people that think valves float before 8K on a 99' motor are WRONG!

crystal swap also doesn't mean the torque curve gets shifted 1500RPM.

peak at 8k my left foot

OP, get bent. You didn't make 136whp, you didn't make peak power at 8000rpm, and at 90mph you're only turning 7600rpm anyway so you didn't even pull to 8k, if you stop at 90mph like you say you did. Feel free to stand by your bullshit, but expect to stand by a ban as well. Go confirm your numbers on a properly calibrated Dynojet.

The last guy who gave some total bullshit figure like 136whp with intake and exhaust got called out, and me and one other guy Paypalled him $20 each to pay for a re-dyno with the agreement that we would get double our money back if he didn't match his previous numbers.

Easiest $40 I ever made.

but it doesnt bother me if my car makes less than 136whp, hell as i already stated, im skeptical about it myself, always have been, but at the same time those were the numbers i was given when it was dynoed, i even asked the operator if those where at the crank or the wheels a couple times and he told me it was at the wheels each time.

So don't brag about making 136 when you 1) are skeptical about making the power anyway and 2) you didn't actually make 136

136whp WOW, and to think all his (non-miata) friends probably believe him.

FWIW I did PM him telling him to start a new thread as we were quickly running away with someone else's thread as me and others questioned his comment.

I would suggest you stand by it on some other forum, then. Horseshit dyno numbers and the stubborn blind-folded imbeciles that stand behind them aren't welcome here.

Exactly how am i stubborn? I agree i think my number is high, but until dynoed otherwise i'll stand by my 136whp, that was on a dyno that other people where making CORRECT numbers on. i made sure my vehicle was intentionally not the first one.

i wouldnt have a clue, the only performance part that i got for the car that i know about was your old header. which my parents lost the end piece to it.

EDIT: i just looked at Fuji racing and there prices are horrible.
