There was a point where I was running on 3 cylinders. Sometimes it would run on 2. It was a fuel problem, my LC1 would read full lean anytime it happened. It had nothing to do with the harness, it was an MS issue. At the time I had the MS laying on the floor on the passenger side, tapping it with my hand would make it run on 4 again. Had some fun with a soldering iron and the injector circuits on the MS and it hasn't happened since. Just throwing it out there.

I agree, it is Braineack's fault.

Joseph, I had a very similar problem two weeks ago. Turned out to be a dead injector (RC Engineering). My injectors also had less than 2,000 miles on them.

Spark and compression were ok. I put a mechanics stethoscope on each injector with the engine running. The injector on number two was silent.

You can try switching them to see if it is a injector harness issue, but I pulled the injectors and bench tested with a 12v source which confirmed my problem.

I sent them off to be serviced but I ended up having to buy a new injector.

New injector resolved the problem 100%.

Well, cylinder 4 is still unresponsive after swapping injectors with cylinder 1. If a MS injector driver is bad, it would affect two cylinders, wouldn't it? I'm going to be picking up a compression tester sometime this week and doing that. Lack of time, cold weather, and not having a garage sucks ***..

No, it would only affect one cylinder as your unit is setup for sequential injection.
