Hood Vents
i Got the idea from cspences build thread, like it so i went to the JY and found myself a set the z34 hood vents.
painted them black
started cutting away
letting some rtv dry
Finished

My understanding was that putting a vent back there actually decreases the cooling efficiency of the cooling system. The vent should be put immediately behind the radiator so that air comes in through the front nose, through the rad, and then out. And no, there will be no drop in thermostat as our motors aren't exactly air cooled.

Makes perfect sense to me, although I believe it's a highly debated topic. Doesn't hurt to do some sort of CAI if you have the space, but does 5* cooler air equal 5* cooler air before going into the intercooler? Or does the turbo negate any difference?
