Sounds like pretty good customer service to me. A slight delay, to avoid screwing you with possibly bad parts.

I'd have hung up on him, too. I don't care who you are, or how badly you think you've been slighted; that's just ****-poor manners. You calmly and rationally discuss the problem. If the vendor fails to come up with a solution or at least try to make things right, THEN you go post about it and rant. Cursing someone out over the phone - especially when they may not have been aware of the problem in the first place - is counterproductive.

FWIW: Ask the Mazda dealer if the nuts are plated in gold and they'll drop the price, if you ever have to get **** from the dealer - their prices are always negotiable. There may also be another dealer in the area with lower prices and you can force them to match (I do this + haggle when I'm forced to go the dealer route).

Pdexta, you're a real piece of work...

Nice of you to paint yourself as this cool, calm, reasonable guy, and it turns out you're cursing a guy out over the phone. What even makes you think it is even remotely the right thing to do, to knock somoene for hanging up on you when you treat them like you did.

As Ben said, they made a mistake, but your misrepresentation does not reflect well on you at all.

Agreed, I think the original was better. Fixed.

Also, Hustler has died of dysentery.

Rule 1 when you are trying to get free **** from a company, or you're trying to get a problem fixed, is to be extremely firm-voiced but never swear. I hate getting incomplete **** too, and for $1100 I expected more, but to be quite honest you got exactly what you deserved here.

I have to say, when I read the first post, I was like, "Not Mazmart!"

I had awesome customer service from them, even though my calls did not end up with me buying anything.

Oh, and sorry again for buying that brake kit before you got it, Ben

You get those rear calipers and brackets in yet?

I didnt' read this whole thread but I will eventually. All I saw was Mazmart and $1100 for a torsen swap. I paid more for my torsen swap from Mazmart a while ago. WTF happened to inflation? Damnit. Ehh it was a 3.90 with around 25k miles. Late gen axles, which i like better.

I was/am more than happy to pay Mazmart more than the usual places for the swap cause I know the parts I'd get would be as described, well packaged, kick ***, etc. And Paul was out at the time and I"m impatient. Anyways, Mazmart is fantastic. THey also hooked me up on a strange issue with Wifey's Millenia ECU.

Gave me a year warrantee (but my receipt said 6 months...) with my 3.90 torsen even with my boost as long as I didn't track it. This was years ago. No problems.

I have to charge depending on ratio. 3.90 = out of a more expensive 6 speed car, or I have to build it. either way, there's more cost involved compared to a 4.10 or 4.30. and also, we are typically selling super low miles parts (like under 10k or under 20k miles).
