Probably would have to stand in the engine bay somehow(probably the shelf by the shock mount and the radiator support) and have something to hold onto, like two ropes or two chains cradling the engine. Then just swing around and toss the engine out of the bay.

It would be impossible with arms extended.

I can deadlift 365, the engine should be a piece of cake if I can get above it.

So who's got a smurf front bumper to send him after he plops the engine right on top of his trying to throw it out of the car and shatters it?

 

Stop being so pessimistic. If the engine is secure, im not letting it go. I have walked 365lb bars to and from the rack plenty of times.

 

May want to hose it down with simple green first...then let it dry so it's a little less slick...just a thought.

 

For reference, an LS family engine block weighs 106 pounds. Oh oh, there I go again. Someone please talk me out of a V8 swap!
