Default Increase RC injector flow???

RC fuel injection is closed until Jan 4th. I sent them an email anyway.

I recently realized that my cleaned and flowed pnp 550cc purple tops are not pnp anymore because I have RC injector connectors spliced into my factory harness.

Does anyone know if my RC440 injectors can be modified by RC to flow more fuel? If they can, then I will just sell my pnp 550s and have the RC440s reworked.

You can up base rail pressure by ~25%, if you have an afpr.

If you use a cobalt bit drill you can embiggen the injector holes but makes sure to wrap tape around the bit so you don't puncture the wiring.

Reflowed injectors tend to suck (crappy spray patterns).
Much easier to fix the inj harness. Either fix the one you got on the car or get a new (used) harness. Most/All miata injection harnesses unclip from the main harness.

Sounds like I need to scrounge up some stock clips since mine is already been wired for sequential. I'll just sell the RC440s.

Thanks

I may have a set of oem injector connectors as part of the half-loom that came with my longblock. Do you want me to check, I would sell them to you real cheap?

I'll give ya what you give him for the modified harness that fits the 440's. ::Edit Sorry I got excited. Just saw it's only the clips.

djp0623, the engine loom I have from the 97 is complete, not hacked up at all like I thought it would be. The problem with it, however, is that the clips for the injectors are pretty broken in the area of the tabs that engage the injectors. I am sending you a PM.
