Default insurance cost

About how much would you pay for insurance on a 93 miata? I have a couple points taken off of license so im sure that would raise it up a bit. thanks

1993 miata
2006 jeep liberty

102 a month. It will actually lower your insurance to have a miata as your primary.

I am 25, married with 1 kid, nice neighborhood, 2 moving violations. Have 2001 Pathfinder for the wife, 2000 Altima as my DD and the 95 Miata for fun. With full coverage on all 3 I pay $116.82/mo. I think adding the Miata to the policy only increased it less than $20/mo.

2004 Ford Expedition
2000 Ford F-150
2002 Miata
1992 Miata

Im 28, married with 1 child and a home owner. I pay $200 a month with Progressive.

My father pays $200 a month for 1 truck and his Harley, but he lives in NYC. So where you live also makes a big difference.

At one point I had a horrible driving record with something like 15 speeding tickets (1 was a misdemeanor), and I did driving retraining like 6-7 times. Yea I know thats fucked up. 2 years now no tickets, and thats with the turbo miata as my daily.

At my bad period I was $444 a month for a 90' miata and a 99' envoy. Now I'm at $98 for just the miata. And in May I'll be 25 for another drop....hopefully. Certainly hurt my wallet and took awhile to teach me a lesson. Don't get caught!

I just keep liability with no collision, leisure vehicle.

200 bucks a year.

As said before though.. age/location/multiple cars etc... all modify it.

When I was 18 I paid 400/month for liab. and comp. on my 4dr integra.

Switched from geico years later and dropped comp and started paying 220/month.

Switched to the Miata and was paying 97/month with comp. added back in.

Gave the teggy to the girlfriend, put the policy under her name primarily and even with her accident (her fault) and a ticket we pay 112/month for liability and comprehensive on both cars.

Why are miatas so much cheaper to insure? Why would a 2-seater sports car be cheaper than my 4dr sedan?

We are both 22 btw. Sometimes looking at the money married couples save just by getting married tempts me.
