I'd like to start by saying that Injector-Rehab were great to deal with. they communicated well and got my injectors back quick. Definitely will be using them again.

Anyway, i sent them a set of RC660s's and a set of OEM 01+ purple tops. The 660's came back as expected at 660 cc/min.

The odd part was the purple tops (PN: 195500-4060) flowed 315 cc/min. I had heard and was expecting 265 cc/min. Has anyone else had a set of 01+ purple tops tested?

 

How much did it cost you per set of 4? Do you still need the purple tops (since you have the RC's)?

 

It was $50 per set of 4 and cost me $7 to ship them out to there. great deal if you ask me.

The purple tops are going in my miata and the 660's are for my brothers dsm. I do have a set of 99 red tops if you are interested.

 

Do you know at what pressure the 265 rating came from?


I had a set of EVO 560's that I was told flow tested well over 600cc. (They were tested by the original evo owner). Running them on my Talon, after the flow difference, dead times and base pressure difference I had to compensate as if they were 650's and the car was still pig rich in the mid range. Flow ratings can be funny that way.

 

a lot of injectors will come back a tad higher after cleaning...

typically those with 550cc rx7 injectors will receive +600cc injectors back
