Default Anyone running Konig Heliums?

Hope you're feeling lucky if you are.

This wheel is on my friend's '02SE. No track time, no R-compounds. Street miles, autocross, and mountain driving.

Ouch, must be a bad wheel. I have a set and my wheels have seen several track days, several autocrosses, lots of daliy driving and a weekend in the gap. Has he checked to see if Konig will replace it?

Is the rim bent? Did he hit a big pot hole or something? Basically, what were the events that led to failure? If the ****** just cracked for no good reason, I'm sure Konig will replace it.

Old Circuit 8's had hollowed out spokes on the backside. I have a set and there are cracks on multiple spokes of all 4 wheels. I spoke to the importer and they said they'd warranty them, but they want all 4 wheels back. I just need to get off my *** and send them in.

I've never had any issue with my heliums. I've owned a set since they were new, those have done many autocrosses and street driving on punishing roads. I've owned another set that saw two seasons of autocross, a track day and some miles on the road. The person that owned them before me tracked his civic with them for a couple os seasons. No issues with 8 wheels.

Not to say that it can't happen...

Me care break wheel.

You could easily roll your car if the wheel has a catastrophic failure while autocrossing, on the track or on the street.
