Just a 60mm thick aftermarket one for a honda integra/civic. on the track it used to get a little hot towards the end of a session, but I have now done a coolant re-route and its fine.

last resort - great pic. love that bay but one question for you Do you get the nasty smell from your catch can since its Venting to atmosphere?

i had my catch can set up just like that also and got a bad rotten egg smell when i had it set up just like that

When I shaved and tucked the bay on my rabbit I plugged everything that wasn't needed. If you are thinking of shaving the bay make sure that you try to use the least possible amount of bondo because when the bay does a little twisting or anything the bondo will crack.

I ditched my soft top and went straight coupe....so now I really don't wanna lose the a/c. Plus, i'm going to be in Florida for atleast 3 more years

But I want a clean engine bay

I yanked mine when I realized that if I couldn't roll with the top down, I wouldn't want to drive the turbo car to begin with.
