miataturbo.net-like debauchery thread (about the ND or something)
That's Portimao in Portugal. World Superbike races there, but nobody else really above a National series level hits it. Shame there isn't more top-level series interest, as it's a fantastic course.
The first concept was inverted but we gave up on that as it was impractical for the end user. Name sounded cool though so I kept it. It wasn't until the Xidas had been in production for maybe 6 months that we decided to do a single adjustable and the things went boom!

Fun time out at Streets of Willow. Not my fastest lap, this was later in the day when we were doing three drivers back-to-back-to-back so the car was heatsoaked and tires were getting squirmy.
It's a very cool experience to see things through from the infancy stage of designs on paper to prototypes, testing, revisions, finished products, and in the end to be out there putting in hot laps in the car on those parts. It's something really only possible in a relatively small close-knit operation such as ours that doesn't have to compartmentalize each various stage, and it is really rewarding.
Plus, it's just stinkin' fun to get out there on a racetrack with the top down and drive.

! It was built to receive Formula 1, however that will never happen in anytime soon. So right now is always used for car presentations (due to the great weather that lasts almost the entire year) and national and European races !

Would have to buy two NDs if this came out.

Not a fan of removable hardtops, but a nice coupe or retractable hardtop is sweet. But mostly I think the car in the photo above is stunning in a way the FRS/BRZ can't touch.

Can anyone weigh in on the OEM ND LSD vs something like an OS Giken?
