Mishi bought in Feb. was built well, fit perfectly, and came with 19 lb cap. Very happy.

 

I lurk here a lot and do not post. BUT

I have the cxracing Rad On my Bone Stock 92. And it installed perfect No fitment issues. Just Bolt Your fans on it before you put it in. And Remove Intake Cross Over.

It Does Come with a partial Mounting Bracket. You remove the Two Side peices That hold the stock one it place with little rubber bushings.

I also have a/c and did not have a problem with it fitting. Just pushed fans back further.. kinda a tight fit but worth it. I got mine $150 Shipped On eGAY


Fit great and havent had a problem. Is A Improvement Over stock For Sure

 

So you went thru three Mishi's to get a good one, and the only difference you saw between those and a GS was the weld quality. I still say they're the same radiator. The only difference is the skill of the underpaid factory worker welding it up.

You hit the nail on the head. If you want a high quality radiator from the get-go, go ahead and pay $500 for one. If you're willing to dick around with returns because of shitty quality control you might save $320. The choice is easy for me. Radiators are easy to change.

 

They are all different, or at least the Mishimoto's are different (read:better). Just because parts are made in China does not mean they are crap. Even the expensive companies like Koyo are made in China.

 

i just bought another cxraing one for my mazdaspeed and it looks nice. I just have to put it in tomorrow and see if everythings good

 

... Which reminds me .... I said in an earlier post that I had to make new top brackets because the rad rubbed against the A/C condenser .... in fact the REASON it rubbed was because of the extra width of the FM throttle body elbow. So, if you have an FM intake on your Mazdaspeed, then definitely use slim fans and make longer top brackets (bolt and post holes about 1" farther apart than stock), otherwise you'll have trouble.

My mishimoto dropped right in, got a hell of a deal on it too .

 

I'm running one from CXRacing and absolutely love it. The stock fans bolted right on, radiator dropped right in, and has been working like a champ ever since. 1 hard open track day and a whole bunch of stop and stop and stop and go traffic resulting from the Woodward Dream Cruise and it has yet to allow my coolant temps to go even remotely high. I'm definitely a believer.

 

I was at a friend's shop and we sliced Mishi, GS, Koyo, and Fluidyne s13 rads in half to see which would be best for their race car.

Mishimoto had much better internal quality, and the fitment was better.
