Am I the only person that, upon seeing Fae's name turn grey, immediately goes to "Find more posts by Faeflora" to see what he did this time? I guess this was the winner this time around.

Well...I thought it was fixed...I just left work and same $hit.
It's like I have to pump it a few times really fast for it to build pressure.
I didn't check yet, but I'm willing to bet its not low on fluid.
I'm thinking master cylinder.

That is all you have left. Did you get the lifetime warranty one.?

I don't think it's lifetime...I'll check. I can only hope.

The fluid is pretty dark and dirty looking, if that helps with any determinations.
What causes fluid discoloration/ dirt in a closed system such as that?

Rubber seals disintegrating. H2O absorption.

Actually the clutch system seems to always turn dark much faster than the brakes, I'm not sure why. This thread reminds me I didn't replace the clutch fluid last time I flushed the brakes ...

I'd guess because you use the clutch at a much higher percentage than the brakes.
Anybody know where to purchase "lifetime warranty" cylinders??

I wouldn't think that at all.

Did I mention that my car has 163,000 miles on it and I bought it with 101,000 and have never changed the brakes?
If they're not the original brakes, I'd guess they were only changed 1 time by the previous (original) owner.
