The big restriction ends up being the intake manifold Im sure the pineapple racing car uses a pair of large ITB's or carbs
The motor will feel soo good in that car you wont want to turbo it, you'll miss the throttle response I know I do
Just remember a redline aday keeps the Carbon away

actually, the motor mount locations on the 13b line up perfectly with the miata mount holes. the problem is that the engine basically sits on them, and theres not enough clearance to put an engine mount between the engine and subframe. You could use a V shaped piece of steel if you really wanted to, but ugh that'd be awful. i'm dropping the subframe, cutting the mount points out with a holesaw and welding in basically upside down tophats so that I can fit an mmr solid poly mount in there.

just a couple odd and end things keeping me from starting it now. gotta mod my megasquirt still, and wait till I get paid again so I can buy an oil pressure sensor/gauge

Goddamn the look of 13B's give me wood. When I can afford the time and money, I will become a rotary man again.
And those are some big AN's. I bet those cost a good bit.
I thought there was a lot of room in the bay with the BP... that thing is empty!
