installed aerocatch hood pins and ordered all the stuff i need to get the car on the road.

im redoing the brake lines to the handbrake, ive never been happy with the hardlines and i have a leaking fitting, so i got custom goodridge brake lines with banjo fittings to replace all the brake lines between the master cylinder, handbrake, prop valve and back out to the rear line. everything is swaged on, and its -3 ptfe braided hose, i got a fresh can of ate blue, speed bleeders for all the callipers, more harness snap in mounts, i ordered ichiba wheel spacers 10mm for front and 17mm for rear. and for some heat control i got some more gold heat film for the underside of the hood and a ptp turbo blanket.

latley i have mounted the turn signals, and pulled all the brake lines to be replaced, changed plugs, and put on new -16 radiator fittings to replace the leaking summit ones, i put a radiator anode in.
i got all the metal for the headlight trays so i have started fabricating those, here are some pictures of the final tray tempilate.

I did something similar with my headlights a few months ago. You should look at my build thread if you haven't seen it already. Mine aren't perfect but they might give you a few ideas. https://www.miataturbo.net/build-threads-57/went-one-gay-car-another-now-make-one-faster-than-last-61859/

i like your lights, i already bought some sylvainia sealed beams, they are like 5.5x2.5, mine are gonna be recessed not flush mount, and held to a mount via dzus 1/4 turns. im making the trays that hold the light out of aluminum like the paper template, and then i have oem headlight lids that im gonna cut back to fit.

Well i took the car for a ride tonight, the 1st legitimate one i would say. every thing went well, no over heating, stable oil pressure and temp, i have a rich spot around 5k where the turbo starts spooling hard, my tuner told me i would have to adjust this because of the shitty day we tuned my car on. so i will pull some fuel tomorrow. all in all it was awsome. fast, loud, stiff as hell and a compete rattle trap. everything a race car should be.

took some pics tonight

yeah, had it tuned over a year ago. made 420 to the wheels on 18psi, reving to 8k. thats on wastegate spring. gonna add a boost controller and turn up the boost in the not so distant future. i want to drop so of the lag, alot of its caused by the cams. my compression test is very low due to the overlap in the cams bleeding off compression. i need to tweek the gears a bit and try and bump up the compression numbers to help with throttle response.

Nice, glad to hear it went well. I can't help to think the rear would look better without the bumper though, or maybe cut off at the high point of the opening.

So when will we get some video of it tearing up the track?

yeah, it is what it is. i could care less at this point. buying that autokonexshit parts was the worst investment i have ever made. but oh well. gonna go to NJ the end of the month for some track adventures. more of a real shake down for the car at east coast bash. it needs more tuning, my wide band reads off from my TS so i need to fix that 1st, im waiting on a pm from braineack on how to. then i need to get my a/f a little better in some spots cause we tuned on a ---- day. but it will all come together

I actually want to get an alignment soon too... was wondering where a good shop would be. I have bigger issues tho now that I think I spun a bearing at limerock.

Glad to see your car is making progress.

Hey nice miata, if you can make it to east Hartford I would recommend strong alignment. They specialize in lowered cars and other cars with special suspension, check them out!

I have a friend who does cornerweighting as a side job (he crews for a race team). I forget what he charges, but it's alot less than what a shop would do. He lives up in MA, so it might be a haul for you guys down in CT. He did my car FWIW,.

If you are interested let me know and I'll put you in touch with him.

If anyone wants to see the car running (drifting, dont get your panties in a bunch) go to youtube and search "josh ecb" runs 3+5 are my best

no problems with the car, no overheating on a 95 deg day. ran like a champ. I consider this a shakedown, for the car and for me driving. my handbrake is working, and i need 3.636 r+p in the worst way, the 4.10's with a 6 speed with 400+hp is a terrible combo. i run out of gear instantly. So a new diff and r+p is my plans over the winter.
