Rollbar Install - What exactly are the "Seat belt tabs"?
Hi everyone,
Before bolting in my Harddog M1 Hardtop, I wanted to make sure I have everything correct to ensure my seat belts retract once installed. The instructions given the website are kind of confusing when it comes to the seat belt tabs that need to be modified. Does someone mind circling which part I either need to trim, bend, or cut off completely?
Also, the picture shows that hes using a dremel on the rivet. does that entire plate thing need to get removed?
The car is a 91' NA, so it mentioned simply bending something, but again, not sure what that is exactly. Thanks!

Flatten the tabs as stated above in post #2.
Do not reinstall the 10mm bolt, per instructions.
On your '91, you do not need to cut the upper bracket off.
You will need to trim the inside of the harness guide as pictured in the instructions so that the guide can turn forward again (helps the seat belt reel function as best as it can):
Trim each guide on the side that will contact the spacer as seen below:
