According to my calculations on this site
440cc injectors at ~60psi instead of 43.5psi flow 516cc
BSFC of .60
Duty cycle of .85 which is maximum safe level
=278 gross engine HP
15% drivetrain loss
=236 WHP

I've been keeping watch on Trackspeed/Savington's kit their putting together that's going to use the EFR series. I had to long since hush up in that thread though since everyone hates getting email updates on it when it's just some nub asking a question that's been answered 15 times. Or when some dude went off about people posting a picture of shut up and take my money. I was one so ehh :P

Haha me too. I have hardly touched my car yet, because I am waiting for the latest and greatest to come out. I want a megasquirt so I can start learning to tune, but I feel like I'll be disappointed if I don't wait for Reverant's Enhanced MS3. The TSE kit is of course a no brainer vs the cost/complexity of me putting together a DIY EFR kit. Though if it takes too much longer I'll probably see how close Artech can get.

I was looking at Absurd flow stuff the other day I think, but yeah I've heard good things about artech too. Still waiting to see the final TSE kit tho , it sounds so great. I just wish the EFR system was twin scroll and external WG :/ everything I've seen says it's not (except the big snails)

Twin scroll is good for turbos that spool poorly, neither of the T2 flanged EFRs need to worry about that.
EWG I couldn't care less about. Added cost and complexity, which are not required when you improve the IWG as much as BW did.
AbsurdFlow's stuff is amazing, but I think TurboTim is done with his manifold building days, at least for the near future.

I'll probably stick to iwg tho since its what's offered and to try to stay with some simplicity. The more complicated the more something will break.

When an IWG works well like it does on the efr, its a waste of money and time to do ewg. Its also unnecessary added weight.
Also on a turbo like the 6258, with how quickly it spools, going twin scroll and trying to make it spool even faster you'd probably run into surge because there is a limit to how much air the engine can take at low rpm before its completely choked up and unable to process it. Its not good for the turbo or the motor.
I know on the large 2.5L subie motors I mess with, going from a vf series single scroll (small'ish turbo, on par with the garrett 2860rs) to a twin scroll there is hardly any improvement, because it already spools so fast.

Besides, if you want a twin-scroll EWG EFR, you just have to dream a bit bigger as far as power numbers go: BorgWarner EFR 7064 Turbo - Full-Race.com
But a twin scroll dual EWG manifold would be

Haha yeah, I think that 7064 is a bit out of the BPs power range. I'm thinking about going 6758 instead of the 6258 as well.
Thanks for the insight both of you, also something I'm not sure about Is the boost control the efrs have built in? I wonder how megasquirt can deal with it.
