Default Installing old style CAS on NB head

Since the cams spin at half crank speed, an NA style CAS should just be a bolt and go affair, correct? It's keyed.

I'm only planning on using this CAS for the TDC sync pulse to enable sequential fueling. It has a 4 pin connector, but the pigtail it came with has only 3 of the 4 terminals populated. The 4th is blank. Anyone have a pin out on a NA CAS? My NA6 shop manual does not include the wiring guide. :(

Thx

Can't say much about the wiring, but yes it will bolt in and work.

Exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you. Of course this pigtail does not have a terminal at CMP.

FML.

I really need to remove my sync pulse generator (CMP) from my exhaust cam. It's a modified magnetic sensor and I have a pigtail harness.

Didn't follow exactly Matt. Are you saying you have a NA8 CAS that you've modified to have only 1 CMP pulse per revolution?
That's a nifty idea, but I actually have a bolt-on Ford 4-1 CAS.

yeah i think it's 1 pulse. Honestly, I can't remember--I used it with my Tec3 which was before my hydra. It was a super cheap, drop-in sync pulse solution.

Got ya. I'm doing the same thing. Need a pigtail and a bolt.

Anyone know the correct size for the CAS bolt?
