Recently, someone stole the hardtop off my Miata. This most likely happened on the 26th late at night. I was going to get TopLoc for it, but the site I bought it from wasn't going to have any in stock until April.

Anyone that finds a seller on CL or any other forum selling a hardtop similar to this one should be vary wary and avoid it.

 

avoid it? buy it because it's probably really cheap!

 

More than likely thieves realize the victim would be looking out for their top for sale, and either keep the top for themselves and repaint, or already have a buyer lined up before hand.

I feel your pain, I suffered this same fate about 6 months ago.

 

Which is exactly why mine isn't mounted with the stock fasteners.

 

Too bad.
