This minor but significant assembly of bolts means enormous progress. The first two plates will be ready in the next month for sale. They are going to be $430 shipped

I've been looking into this for a while, and it seems like a nice idea if you have the skills. I've been considering a Quaife tall gearset myself but it's so expensive.. The gearing with a 3.9 rear looks to be like this;
1st 36
2nd 62
3rd 91
4th 126.4
5th 177.3
The TII has a shorter first (around 35mph), can that be swapped with any other gears? And 70mph cruise in 5th would be around 3100 (?) RPM, better highway economy at least.

FM stopped carrying them for that reason, from what I've heard. Not very promising.
