Sorry, you got a 1990 1.6 rear end there. Could be VLSD or not...

Not what you want in your car though.

Can't say that I have ever seen a smooth NA 1.8 case, looks like a 6" paper weight to me.

Try the 7club forums. Buy a complete Rx7 diff (86-88 GXL, 88 GTU), take the LSD and the housing, grab poly bushings from Emilio. Take your front housing, R&P (if they are OK), the Rx7 aluminum housing and LSD, assemble it all, presto change-o.

(Or drop it off at a shop and tell them you want 110lbs of pre-load. Apparently the aggravation of setting a diff up and doing custom preload is well worth the $300 I paid for this.)

since we are on the subject. My car came from a owner of a Rotary performance shop here.
They were selling internals for a miata rearend that was basically stepping it up to a rx7 rearend for like a $1000.oo .

I have wheel hoped the car multiple times, and dragged it down the strip. It seems to be holding up well. I wounder if they upgraded the 6" on my car???
But I wouldn't know what I was looking at if I had the cover off. I guess I'll leave it in there until it blows.
I like the 430 gears. They are a tire baller.

So if anyone got a 1.8L rear I need one, like to build a clutch type for it. LMK

If it works for hi-comp pistons, it will work for Torsen repair!
