So Sav was correct and finding the inverted flare end with a swivel wasn't happening.

I ended up getting 2 nickel plated adapters and 70" -3an Earls PTFE line with swivel ends. Total cost from Summit: $32 ... not too bad.

Unfortunately, it maintains the same number of potential failure points (as Curly pointed out), however, I had some issues with my OEM hard line (mangled bracket, interference) so tossing it was a bonus.
