Default unknown under dash ground 93

I recently removed my dash to get rid of an old alarm and clean up some of my wiring. In the process I found a ground wire that was snipped that comes out of the harness with the connectors for power windows, interior dimmer switch, and cruise control switch. I was hoping someone could tell me where it is supposed to be connected to. Thanks for any help. Name: miata%20engine%20ground_zpspsecgy1j.jpg

Well if anybody ever has a horn that stays on when connected and the airbag has been removed and replaced. You should check and make sure the wiring hasn't got pinched on the steering wheel and grounded the circuit. This is what happened to me. Still have a few issues to solve.

The airbag light is flashing 4 times. I looked it up and it appears that the s sensor is bad.

Also the cigarette lighter is not working time to do a little more trouble shooting.

If anyone knows if that black wire in the pic needs to be grounded and its location please let me know. I guess if I get no response I will just find a convenient location and ground it.

there are two grounds that bolt to either side of the metal framing under the dash. this is probably one of them. just ground it anywhere under there.

Ground is ground, really doesn't matter where it grounds.

Disconnect the passenger side one to see your oil pressure gauge act as a "how much ground am I missing" gauge.

Mine was the fusable link soldered on the back for the lighter plug. Got too hot filling tires with a small compressor.

I am getting 12 volts to the connector. Do I just need to check continuity across the fusable link which I guess is this little gray wire on the back of the lighter. If I blew it can it be replaced or do I need to get a new cigarette lighter

I think that's a piece of solder if I remember that stupid fact correctly. If it gets too hot, it'll melt. If you get continuity to ground and 12v, it's obviously the socket. I can talk to the owner of the car in my garage, I just cut out his lighter. Worked as far as I know.

I am not sure where this connector is supposed to hook up to. It comes out of the harness with the hazard relay and relay to the horn. Name: 45B7768C-61F3-44D8-98A3-5E6462231D80_zpsuozhtqls.jpg

You guys were correct the fusable link was the problem. I didn't get any continuity across it. I jumped it for a second and plugged in my radar detector and it works. I already found a replacement curly before the offer but thanks. Here is a picture of all the wiring I pulled out of the car.
