Default What wire for dash lights?

I'm finishing up the turbo build and am doing the electrical work. Installing boost gauge and WB in the pillar. I done this before in another car and the gauges were to bright so this time I like to tap into the dash lights to use there dimmer. Anyone save me some time and tell me where and what wire would be the easiest to tap in to?

Thanks!

Tap directly into the Dimmer. You can string a wire straight from your gauges to the back of the dimmer. There's a Red/Black wire and a Red wire. I can't remember offhand which one is the 12v and which is the dimmer.
