im sorry to hear this group buy isnt going smooth. i am not apart of this group buy, but cut travis some slack. not many people make parts for the bp's compared to ford 302's and ls1 ect.. i am greatful that we have someone on here smart enough and with the ability to bring these cuting edge technologies to the mazda scene. you guys are really lucky with the miatas pretty much any part you need you can find. try building a festiva and looking for a e-brake cable HAHA, ford laughs at your face for driving a 1988 festiva and mazda cut there ties with ford so pretty muck sol. hopefully when travis gets cought up and i get some money i can purchase a set too.

Out of interest Travis where are you in terms of orders taken and order fulfilled so far? then people can get a view of where they are in the list

are you also still continuing to take new orders for these?

As I keep saying time and again I knew there would be a wait and don't mind hanging in there for a while yet as I reckon the wait will be worth it. Just keep the updates coming

Bah Travis, tough luck there.
Post the pics of mine before you pack it up and PM me the tracking number.

I'll have an update today with details. I'm supposed to get final word on the connector shipment tonight so I'll let everyone know. I also will get the pictures up that you guys are requesting, and information on the list so you can see progress. I have painstakingly recycled as many connectors as I can, and made multiple attempts to reinitiate contact with [the supplier] to get more connectors. The connectors are just not here to make anymore and [the supplier is unreachable]. This is as far as I can go with the COP manufacturing process until I get more supplies.

I'm still waiting on the final word on the shipping I'm supposed to get it sometime tonight. (They are exactly 12 hours off our time)

Did mine ship already or are you missing parts for that too? What is up with mine - what stage is it at?

TravisR 12-18-2009 01:09 AM

I'm using it to gunie pig a new idea that reduces cost, assembly time, and the need for the rear two connectors. Sorry for taking so long with it, but I think I had a breakthrough thats really quite simple that will now allow me to get more units out to others before the china shipment. More to explain tomorrow. I've had enough work for today. 1AM and its time for bed.

(China still hasn't confirmed final shipping which is why I haven't been back to update lately.)

Mods,

I know this topic is getting a bit hairy but I'd request that this thread be left open. Something is fishy here and I think Travis should at least have a chance to air his concerns and allow Alex to rebut.

I understand the desire for transparency, but I also understand the importance of keeping internal company conflict off the forum. This "he said, she said" will only frustrate the two people involved.

Travis has requested the thread be closed and I agree--his personal, private business dealings dont need to be aired here.

Meanwhile, Travis will create a new thread for his customers to discuss any remaining issues with the WeaponX COP product.

Alex/CorsaTechnic: if you have any further business with Travis, you two can solve it off the forum. That means not confronting him in his "customer service" thread. If you have an issue with him or something he posts, send a private message to him or a moderator and we'll take care of it.
