I'd like to order a set of Toyota connectors, when would these be available?

Savington 06-09-2008 04:51 PM

Still waiting on brackets, I am expecting them Wednesday.

jayc72, I can order you a set, but it'll probably be faster to go through the place in Texas yourself. Once I ship them to you, you probably won't save much on shipping either.

ok let me know i'm trying to budget my money for the next 2 weeks

I thought you might have had them on hand.

Just talked to my friend who has been my liason for the sheetmetal shop. The plates are being deburred today, studs are being pressed in tomorrow. Should have them Wednesday as scheduled.

Savington... Just now saw this thread.
I think I'd like this setup, any ideas how this would work out of the gate with the Hydra ECU? I'm guessing since it's plug and play, it will function like the stock coils without changing anything else. Would I have to change anything (other than the tune) to run sequential ignition?

I was just about to order a new coil pack and wires, but I would go this route instead if it will truly be plug and play and offer better more consistant spark.

thanks!

Joined miataturbo just to read this thread :P. How long are you planning to produce these for? I have a few more urgent things on my shopping list but as soon as they are done I would really like a set of these.

be advised Sav, after July 11th I'll no longer live at my Augusta address.

Can I just get the connector(s) that are on the OE coils of a 94 1.8?
Did you say they were hard to get? Do you have a part number or source for them new or used?

disturbedfan121 06-13-2008 01:26 AM

Sure, cut them off the coils yourself. ;) My '94 guys are going to have to cut and splice wires, unfortunately. I haven't found the OEM connector yet.

derf 06-13-2008 09:18 AM

OK, please let me know if you do find the OEM connector for a 94 coil PNP app.

belacyrf 06-13-2008 01:44 PM

Sav, can you answer this? I need to make a decision on this asap, I also sent you an email. Thanks!
