Nice sticker placement! Bravo.
As for the colors, you can't go wrong either way but I'll admit I'm dying to see them paint matched in a cool color (lava orange falls into that category)

Cool, will they be sold through Goodwin and TSE like your brake ducts?

There may be one in here, but I looked through the whole thread on my phone and didnt see it.

Can anybody show me a picture of the underside of an NA hood after installing these vents? I think I have the measurements right, but my placement doesn't quite look like I think it should...

You have another buyer for the NA version when you get them done!

I am ready to buy the NB set as soon as they become available. I would like to do something to the hood to let heat out on the track soon though. Is there any way to get a template early so I can ensure I don't cut beyond the cuts needed for these vents. I am only planning to do the middle hole in the near term.

Sounds like we worked this out via PM/email. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The louver kits should be in stock with Good-Win shortly, so you don't have long to wait! I would personally recommend against just cutting a temporary center hole, it's not going to do much without louvers and a gurney flap, and it's not large enough on its own to be very effective anyways.

I was planning to louver the opening and add a gurney flap but I'm quite sure it won't look near as nice as your product, hence the reason I want to make sure the hood is still able to take yours once they are available. My next event is Oct 4th and I'm out of town the week before for work so I basically have to get it done this week. Thanks and looking forward to getting your vents once available.

Someone contacted me about getting a replacement Singular Motorsports decal for the one that came with their hood louvers. I've made another batch of the decals but now I have gone through all my of PMs and emails and cannot find the one who contacted me anywhere. Whoever sent that request, PM or email me again, your decal is waiting.

Finally got mine back from the powder coater.

Not all that impressed with their work, but they're the only game in town. Also cost $50, which seemed high to me, but then I haven't had anything powder coated for almost 10 years.

Now I just need to find time for the install. Hopefully next week...

Looks sexy to me from here!
$50 isn't bad. Most powdercoating shops have a minimum charge, so you're looking at $50-$90 depending on the shop for a small order.

The batch has just been finished up, we're delivering it to Good-Win Racing on Tuesday. Allow a little bit of time for them to get it on the site, but they should be available for purchase this coming week!

In other news, we've just renewed as forum vendors for the next 6 months
Thank you to all of you guys for making this possible!

That was my thought as well. You have won me as a loyal customer without actually having bought anything yet. If you keep pumping out awesome functional modifications like this, of which I COULD do, given enough time and money spent, but I couldn't do it as perfectly, and with sound science backing it as you have Mr. Pass.

Excited to see what else you have tucked up your sleeve. I just wish I could give you the money directly, rather than through a middle man.

I'm impressed how fast you got the 2nd batch ready for resale so fast, and in quantities large enough to give to goodwin.

Cheers, that means a lot. I'm excited for things to come. We've got a couple more things in the works right now, but want to be sure we're perfectly happy with them before releasing anything. Plenty more on the drawing board, but it takes time - and I'm forcing myself to focus on one or two things at a time, no more. No point getting spread too thin, and it allows us to develop what we are working on in a timely manner - I'm not a multi-tasker, I'm efficient when I can focus on one project.

Our relationship with Goodwin (and other vendors) is symbiotic. We could try to go it alone and hoard every penny of the profits, but we'd spend years trying to gain the level of exposure that Good-Win Racing has. At the end of the day, if we put our passion into our work, it will benefit both us and those selling our parts. Everyone wins and benefits together, and to me, that's rather in parallel with how this whole community works. I wouldn't want it any other way. Our group buys are the one time that all the money goes straight to us, and they are really valuable to test the waters before full production, so we'll be doing more of those in the future for select parts, but they aren't a replacement for the regular production/retail, just a precursor.
