You should be fine, many reports from those with hood vents having no problems leaving cars outside in weather (and I've never had issues myself). The vents avoid placement above the valve cover which is the most important to avoid. Of course, I can't speak for aftermarket bits that may or may not be placed under the vent holes, that's user-specific. Don't place your air filter directly below the opening.

I just received mine from UPS! I'll hopefully have time this afternoon to start cutting. FYI, mine required a signature.

I need to decide if I want to try welding my hood back together and then grinding the welds, or if I just want to buy a new hood.

Many of the packages are scheduled for delivery today/tomorrow so they should be in everyone's hands very soon.

I chose to leave it up to UPS whether they leave the package if nobody answers the door. AFAIK the driver will determine if there appears to be a safe place to leave it on a case-by-case basis. If not, he'll leave a note and try again the next day. If you know you won't be around, best bet is probably to leave a note on the front door saying you're OK with the package being left on the doorstep (or elsewhere). Although that doesn't guarantee he'll leave it, it has worked for me in the past.

Clear coat peeling aside, that blue looks amazing. As do the vents. I'm excited for them to go live on Good-Win-Racings site.

I got mine on today I'll get pics later. I left them bare aluminum, with the black stripping, on a highlight silver 99.

Yes! Cat approves package.

Remember if you're leaving them 'bare' aluminum, do clear coat them, and use gloves so you don't get fingerprints all over them before the clear coat. (I cover all this in the install guide you guys should have a link to in your emails)
