There are some infomercials (and products advertised within) which are so utterly bizarre as to defy comprehension.

Apparently, Valve has decided that the risk of a malevolent AI killing everyone is sufficiently small that they've gone ahead and constructed the Aperture Science factory to build game controllers.
Note the "Aperture" name and logo on some of the white robots. A quote from Valve:
