You know how sometimes you go to Google to find some simple and useful piece of information about the RS-422 standard, and two hours later you're reading about the history of suspension-bridge construction in Argentina and reading a list of sexually active popes?
That's how I got here...

That's how I got here...

It wasn't the RS-422, but yesterday I somehow ended up on Zoroastrianism, then Azerbaijan, then Baku and the oil-based economy, then coming dangerously close to booking a trip next week to go see the F1 race there.

And in both cases, if a sufficiently large number of people judge you to be especially skilled at this, they will give you surprisingly large amounts of money to do it. (Looking like an emo bitch and / or wearing a funny hat is also helpful.)

Is this guy a keyboard player?
Is this guy a drummer because he pokes the touch pads with sticks? If he uses his fingers does it make it a keyboard or a synthesizer or something else entirely?
Is this guy more of a drummer because his device mimics more closely the look of a traditional drum kit?
How about the guy who makes fully electronic music from his PC? Is he a musician?
Or the guy who draws notes on a piece of parchment with a quill pen but doesn't perform anything himself?
I don't know where the line is.

I think it's pretty easy.
If I take your quote above and do this to it:
it doesn't make me some sort of anything.
But I was seriously asking: Did that DJ actually create the music he's playing back essentially and fooling around with?
That first video is just someone playing other people's creations back.
in the second and third they are drumming.
I used to push the Demo button on my Casio back in the day and change the pitch, that didn't make me a musician.
