This is the reality in which we live.
Railing against it, which perfectly sensible,will accomplish nothing. (This having been said, I really hope that the video above was intended to be satire. Albeit in extremely poor taste. And THAT having been said, even i we assume this to be true, I know that there will be legions of viewers who fail to appreciate that subtlety, and take it at face value.) |
Apparently, it was satire, lifted from a site called “The Stately Harold” and turned into a video. Might be worth a grin to check out that website. Thus the character Cassidy Boon – who has her own Twitter account and is the author of other controversially-sounding satire pieces including Why male suicides do not matter as much as female ones and Why it’s okay for women to cheat on their boyfriends – is more than likely a pseudonym rather than an actual person and it is rather unlikely that she (or he) genuinely believes in the ideas they describe they assert. |
