Default Our neighbour is creeping on our babysitter

We just found the perfect nanny, but I don't know how long she'll be with us.

So we recently hired a new nanny for our two kids. My wife usually does the vetting process but they’ve all been disasters recently. So I took it upon myself to find a new person. I must say she is wonderful. I try to run my home with precision, and expect nothing less from her. She is young and energetic. She has the kids doing all their chores, happily. She helps run household errands. The house is lively and full of music. I don’t mean to sound inappropriate, but she is an attractive young lady.

The trouble is coming from one of our neighbors. He seems to know our new babysitter. I run on a very tight schedule, so it is easy to know when she’ll be there. So he’s always popping up. To be fair, both she and the children seem to be fond of him. But I don’t know what he does for a living. Sometimes he plays music for people in the neighborhood. Sometimes he does what he calls “street art.” The last straw came last night. He brought all his chimney-sweep friends (I didn’t even know there were still chimney-sweeps in this day and age) to the house. They made a tremendous mess. They had the nanny and my two children singing and dancing on the roof of my goddam house! The commotion was so much that it cost me my job at the bank.

What should I do?

I don't get this part. Did you actually lose your job?

I'd read Commie's reply below prior to reading your post. I'll admit that, having been so primed, it took me until near the end for it to dawn on me.

Can't believe I fell for it.
Hell, I saw the movie fifty years ago.

If you lost your job at the bank, you don't need a nanny any more ... neither can you afford one!

In a similar vein, I've had a few PMs / questions since posting a couple of GIFs of the classic Pingu / The Thing crossover in the Politics section, as it was the most absurdly random thing I could think of to respond to some of BraineackBot's latest Trump apologetics with. So, to answer everyone all at once, here is the full original episode:

I must now go back and rewatch The Thing. I saw it maybe 4-5 years ago (again) at a small independent theater back in Tulsa around Halloween, but we were kind of half-cocked by that point.

I loved the original. Wasn't impressed by the recent remake. Not sure why I keep bothering to watch modern versions of films that didn't suck when they were new...

Anyway, since I know everyone here has been wondering how to mine bitcoin by hand with pencil and paper (because using electricity to solve problems is racist / otherizing / discriminatory / anti-gay), here you go:

Never saw the new one. Don't care to. Kurt Russell is my spirit animal.
