I normally cannot listen to that guy. He speaks way too slowly and deliberately and tends to emphasize every sentence exactly the same and draw out the last words of sentence looking for some effect that doesn't work.

However, I have a picture of me sitting in a blue Vector at the Brown Field Airshow circa early 90's with a gigantic ****-eating grin on my face. I was wearing a t-shirt with a B-25 bomber on it and the owner also owned a B-25 that was on display and the car was parked next to the plane... he liked my shirt and let me sit in the Vector... made me take my shoes off before I got in. I also remember that he said it was the only blue one in the world... didn't know to that point that they'd probably only made 10 or so.

So I listened to that boring-as-**** video of a legitimately cool car as he OVER AND ******* OVER used the word "insane" to describe what was clearly just 80's coolness.

At that same airshow a few years earlier, I also have a picture of me standing with Pappy Boyington

I'm glad it's not just me. I can't stand the way that guy talks.

Yup, he's a decent writer, or at least he was until I knew what he sounded like when he talked (Great news everyone). He annoys the hell out of me because I really want to watch lots of the stuff he gets into, but I can't stand the goober. Hoovie is cool, but a little repetitive if you want to check out some dumb car content that's not agonizing to watch.

I think it's naughty to continue to have speed limits based off of 1940s cars/laws despite incredible advances in modern technology and safety standards. Then to collect money from the people who violate these silly laws to pay for bigger courtrooms to take more money for more silly laws...

There's a major highway in our town that is always jammed up with traffic because it has so many neighborhoods off of it and it's only a two lane road. It's a 55 mph road despite all the congestion, but you can never actually go 55 on it due to all the traffic and people stopping to turn.
Well, the city got wise and built a bypass road about a mile south of this one; another two lane highway that passes through pristine pasture land without a thing on it. It's actually closer to me and is a direct passage to the road that takes me right by my work. It would shave about 10 minutes off my morning commute. I waited with gleeful anticipation for the opening of that road.

They set it to a 30 mph speed limit and patrol it constantly. You will get a ticket if you go 1 mph over the limit on that road.

For that reason, no one uses that road, including me.

Great job councilmen. Thanks for wasting everyone's time.

While I agree that modern cars are much safer and much better than they were back in the 50s-60s when speed limits were done, people now days are also much shittier drivers and a lot more distracted by phones/radio/etc so while speed limits should get an appropriate bump because vehicles are better, the idiots driving them are the problem why they dont.

Dog video.
