I disagree, The splayd has a spork handle and a double edged spife blade. The knork's business end is a single-edged knife with a fork tooth and flat edge in the blade.

 

I always figured you should never bring a gun to a gun fight because then you'll be part of a gun fight.

I had very much this same experience several years ago, at the University of Southern California.

They'd contracted us to build a radio studio. Small job, but it was within driving distance of home, so no big deal.

I was sitting in a meeting. One of "those" meetings, where the person standing clearly had a degree in failing at Powerpoint.

Long story short- they were rapid-firing back and forth in the deck trying to find the correct slide. I quietly said "No Whammy... No Whammy... No Whammy... STOP!"

And that was when I realized that I was the oldest person in the room.

 

When I started at my current employer, we were just transitioning out of being a tiny startup into a small real company. For teleconferencing we had 5 or 6 reserved phone bridges, the kind that you had to enter numeric passwords to join. For simplicity, all of the passwords were set to (wait for it)... 1-2-3-4-5.

I was very disappointed that nobody else wanted to change the combination on their luggage...

Thinking about this now for the first time, I am greatly distressed by the fact that there is no Unicode character for the artist formerly known as Prince.

 

as in

 

I do not see the point in a combination lock on a piece of luggage.
