There's a HUGE part of the audience here that you are currently interacting with that has had a smart phone during most of their approaching-adult developmental years that don't have these problems. Just like the internet, smart phones are a tool and nothing more. What you choose to do with them is up to the individual.

Maybe I just shoulda said, "Kids these days..." and left it at that. You'll see any number of stupid memes with people glued to their phones instead of to life itself.
An old friend of mine recently took my advice, and rented an RV to do a week long road trip with the family. He also posted this photo:
Now, I should note a few things here.
One is that he obviously went out and purchased the correct uniform for this. Which merits respect.
Two is that, despite appearances, this guy is a corporate attorney. Specifically, he is house counsel for Mitsubishi Electric.
Three is that there is absolutely no reason why one would ever hold the stinky slinky in this way, and that scene in the movie has bothered me for years.

Do boys these days still have posters depicting cars, airplanes, and spacecraft on their bedroom walls? Was that a passing fad, or does it remain in practice?
