Edit: Somewhat related, I have definitely experienced spidey sense on a couple of occasions in the colorado mountains, and my instinct has always always been mountain lion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That scene has always bothered me.

You would never hold the slinky up like that while the tank was draining.

I mean, you could, if you had a macerator pump (though there would be no reason to do so), however:

1: You don't typically see 3" hoses on the outlet of macerator-equipped rigs, and

B: C'mon, this is cousin Eddie. He doesn't even know what a macerator is.

So, we're about a week out from officially launching another multicast network. You know, those channels that show up on your TV as 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, etc., and are cheaply programmed with reruns and religious shows.

Anyway, this one is called RewindTV, and it's all 80s & 90s. Sitcoms, mostly. No A-Team or Airwolf, much to my chagrin.

The color scheme used in the branding is also very period-correct. The 80s logos are mostly earth tones and nice gradients, and the 90s stuff is all neon flashiness and triangles.

We're originating the channel natively at 1080i 16:9, but since most of the programming is 4:3, using pillarbox rather than relying on AFD.

Some genius in the graphics department decided that bright pink would be a good color for the side bars, as opposed to boring old black.

Fortunately, saner heads prevailed in the end, but some of the test programs we're airing right now for the affiliates to get their stuff dialed in still have the original bars.

It's... atrocious.

 

Not gonna say aliens built them but the similarity between the pyramids in opposite sides of the world leads me to believe there was outside contact sharing the data.

 

Or...

And hear me out on this...

Maybe a pyramid shape just happens to be the best way to pile up a bunch of stones and not have them fall down for a long time?
