...on Facebook.

DDG doesn't care about the content, only the source.

I think maybe that's a metaphor for the majority of present-day thinking on matters of politics.

I'm confused as to why a person would attempt suicide in that particular way.

Where does one procure those ring and pinion sizes, and for how much cat food?

I'm also curious as to this feature:

Presumably it is for a speed sensor. But... on one side only?

Now that I think about it, I suppose that if one knows the speed of the propshaft, and the ratio of the gearing, then it's not necessary to have sensors on both output shafts. One could deduce the speed of the un-measured axle.

Any ide whether this is normally tied into the ABS on the host vehicle? I know little of BMW design.

That is the birthplace of the VSS in certain BMW models.
Most, actually almost all newer bimmers use their ABS sensors to feed the speedometer.
This model is actually to my advantage... We will build a conversion circuit to convert the signal from the BMW sensor to something the Miata can understand. It will have a calibration feature where different tire sizes or gear ratios will be a nonissue.

Also, the ring gear throws around all the oil, so there is little to no oil for this little thing to sling.

I had it custom built because diff work is black magic.
Everything except for the case is brand new.
Clutchpack is good for twice the HP and weight of my car, and is set up for my Miata.

Cost me $600 and about 8 months.

I have to share this...

This is how I hacked into the gearbox to fit my starter.
I hated how the jagged cuts would compromise the integrity of the bellhousing.

So there is this welder guy. He specializes in aluminum welds.
I asked him if my hack job could be covered up.
This is what he did...

That is more art than welding.

Whatever you paid him, you still got the better end of the deal. Wow.

This makes me think of the many times when I have violated not just the ten commandments, but all of the foundational doctrines of the Abrahamic religions as a whole.

Also, here is a picture of a woman firmly grasping a ****:
